Mr Navin Sharma is a Chartered Accountant and a seasoned professional with over 26 years of overall experience, including 24 years in the BFSI sector. His expertise spans enterprise-wide internal audit and risk reviews, risk management across core, operational, financial, and other domains, implementation of the COSO framework, general compliance, Basel II and SOX 404 compliance, information security, and business continuity management in leading organisations.
Most recently, Mr Sharma headed the Business Internal Audit vertical at ICICI Bank since 2016, where he was responsible for the internal audits of various functions within the bank and other entities across the ICICI Group.
Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Internal Audit at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd. for over five years. He also held senior leadership roles at Fullerton India Credit Company and Citigroup Global Services, where he was responsible for Risk Control and Review, and Control and Compliance, Management Assurance Services, respectively.
