Rajinder Kumar Babbar

Mr. Babbar has over 35 years of leadership experience in the banking sector, demonstrating a consistent record of establishing and enhancing businesses. His achievements include significant growth in AUM, market share, and profitability, across businesses that he has led and managed. During his 23-year tenure at HDFC Bank, he led large teams in Transportation and Infrastructure Finance, Rural Banking, and Retail Liabilities. Previously, he built and managed the Rural Banking Group, covering farmer finance, MSME loans, retail assets, and third-party products. His strong banking experience includes stints in Centurion Bank, Bank of Punjab, and Central Bank of India, before joining HDFC Bank.

He holds degrees in B.Sc., LLB, LLM Corporate Law & Criminal Law, and is pursuing a PhD from NMIMS, Mumbai. Additionally, he completed a leadership development programme at IIM, Ahmedabad.
